Lillypool Farm Hotel - Shipham

Spacious family double room with a lovely vibe. Door opened too close to the road, making dog walks tricky.

The location is in a beautiful spot in the field behind-and-across the road. It's also close enough to cheddar and the gorge, Brean beach and cafe for vegans. Make sure you stay in the double room with fridge.

The breakfast was great and the parking was on-site.

Room was really spacious, lekker for all of us! We had a proper result with a decent brekkie at the cafe. The check-in was sharp-sharp, and the dog loved the green path across the road for walks!

But ja, the door opening onto the gravel was a bit of a schlep, especially with a dog that wants to dash out!

Location: the hotel was right by Cheddar itself and Lillypool Farm.

The breakfast at the café was a real delight, perfect for fueling up before a day of adventures! The spacious room with windows on three sides offered fine views-a lovely spot to relax after exploring.

We had a right old time! Room was spacious, filled with light, perfect for our dog too. And that cafe on-site? Best brekkie I’ve had—real tasty! Bit dodgy opening the door near the road, though. But overall, proper lovely stay!

Basic kitchen amenities lacking!!! Too much noise from the nearby road impacts comfort!!! Inconsistent WiFi makes it difficult to stay connected!!! Poor soundproofing means you can hear everything from neighboring rooms!!!

Room was clean and spacious with a nice sofa and lots of storage. Staff in the cafe were super friendly and breakfast was quickly served (the bacon roll was spot on!).

Spacious rooms with plenty of natural light and a lovely vibe. The bridlepath for dog walks was a good touch! Excellent communication from the staff made everything easy and fun for our family.

Had a few sneaky potholes on the way in-perhaps they were trying to give us a country experience. And watch out when you open the door. My dog almost made a run for it onto the main road!

The family double room was super spacious and filled with loads of natural light, feel really inviting. The heated bathroom floor was such a nice touch on a chilly morning! And the option to bring our dog made it even better. Only downside was that the door opened a bit too close to the road, so had to be careful with the pup running out!

Spacious and Comfortable Stay

We really enjoyed the spacious family double room that was filled with light, and the comfortable bed made for a great night's sleep. It was fantastic that we could bring our dog along, but I wish there were more clear pathways for walks without needing to drive. A solid choice for a short getaway!

During our short break at lillypool farm, we found our family double room clean and spacious. The peaceful atmosphere exceeded my expectations. The breakfast at the cafe was tasty and a good way to start our day.
